PLANO, Texas (March 26, 2012) – Three Learfield Sports’ partner schools are still dancing in their respective post-season basketball tournaments, namely Minnesota, Stanford and Oklahoma State. The company manages multimedia rights for more than 50 collegiate institutions and associations, and of those, 26 men’s programs and 26 women’s programs each advanced to three, respective men’s and women’s post-season tournament play.

Congratulations to the Minnesota Gopher Women who bested another Learfield partner Northern Iowa, to become the 2012 WBI Champion with a final score of 88-74. Making another strong advance is Stanford, which plays Duke tonight in an Elite Eight match up in the 2012 NCAA® Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. Additionally, Oklahoma State will play San Diego on March 28 in hopes of moving closer to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament®

Championship. In the Men’s 2012 National Invitation Tournament®, Minnesota and Stanford are making semifinal appearances at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 27.
