CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — KCRG and Learfield Sports are pleased to announce the expansion of fall sports coverage of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones and the University of Northern Iowa Panthers in Eastern Iowa. In a partnership with the three universities’ multimedia rights partner, Learfield Sports, KCRG-TV9 will continue to offer extensive coverage of football, men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling.
All television agreements are effective for the 2014-15 athletic season and encompass the University of Iowa, Iowa State University and University of Northern Iowa. KCRG-TV9 will air Iowa Football with Kirk Ferentz, Iowa Basketball with Fran McCaffery, Iowa State Football with Paul Rhoads, Iowa State Basketball with Fred Hoiberg, and Panther Sports Talk on KCRG-TV9, with replays on KCRG 9.2.

KCRG 9.2 will also offer full-game coverage of select UNI Panther football games, men’s and women’s basketball games and volleyball matches.
