Partnership Originated July 2010 as First-Ever for the Broncos

BOISE, Idaho – Following the vote of approval by the Idaho State Board of Education, Boise State University will extend its relationship with Learfield Sports through 2025.

Learfield Sports has been Boise State Athletics’ only comprehensive multimedia rights holder and marketing partner in school history, with the initial relationship commencing July 1, 2010. The new term extends through the 2024-25 athletic season, with all aspects of the strategic rights agreement managed by Learfield’s local entity, Bronco Sports Properties.

“We are very appreciative of the partnership we have with Learfield Sports and the effect this extension will have regarding our long terms goals within the athletic department,” said Boise State Director of Athletics Mark Coyle. “The over $40 million in guaranteed revenue from this new agreement will help us continue to provide a first-class experience for our student-athletes.”

Dan Hawley oversees Learfield’s Boise-based Bronco Sports Properties as general manager, working closely with Coyle and the entire athletics administration on a daily basis. With Boise State, Learfield manages the individual multimedia rights for nine of the 12 Mountain West member schools, and has sole oversight of the marketing and sponsorship initiatives for the conference itself. Other MW members in Learfield’s portfolio include Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, Utah State, San Jose State and Wyoming.
