Marquette Sports Network provides extensive regional coverage

With the 2014-15 exhibition opener Saturday afternoon against Wisconsin Lutheran, the weekly radio program covering the Marquette University men’s basketball team returns to the airwaves beginning Nov. 6 on ESPN Milwaukee (540 AM and 1510 AM).

The Marquette Basketball Hour with Steve Wojciechowski, debuts at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 6. Steve “The Homer” True will host the 60-minute program, which features interviews with the players and staff, special guests and much more.

The show will be hosted for the third year at Ward’s House of Prime (540 East Mason Street, Milwaukee). The program will air weekly on Thursday nights all season long, with the exception of conflicts with game coverage or team travel.

ESPN Milwaukee will once again serve as the flagship station for the Marquette Sports Network, which is overseen by Marquette Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports and the Golden Eagles’ multimedia rights holder. Game broadcasts include a 30-minute pregame show, play-by-play action with True and former MU standout Jim McIlvaine and a postgame recap with Steve Wojciechowski.   MSP slider
