PLANO, Texas – Learfield Sports appointed veteran sports marketer Steve Tucker general manager for Army Sports Properties, the company’s West Point, N.Y.-based entity and multimedia rights holder for the Army Athletic Association. Additionally, Brendan Jobin has been promoted from sponsorship coordinator to account executive, joining Account Executive Andrew Theokas.

Steve Tucker photoTucker joins Army Sports Properties from Learfield’s Penn State Sports Properties entity, where he served nearly four years as manager, business development spearheading corporate partnerships in support of the Nittany Lions. Prior to that, he was with Plum TV in New York City and FOX Cable Sports (SPEED Channel, FSN, FOX Soccer Channel and Fuel TV) based primarily in Chicago. At FOX, he was responsible for commercial advertising and multi-platform sponsorship sales for NASCAR, Big 12 and PAC 10 football, as well as for ACC and PAC 10 basketball. His additional experience includes advertising sales for Raycom Sports. A Michigan State alum, Tucker began his career in advertising with Turner Entertainment Networks (TBS & TNT) in New York City.

In addition to previously serving as an Army football marketing intern, Jobin has been a game day promotions intern with the Hudson Valley Renegades and sports marketing intern for West Virginia University, his alma mater.
