IMGLTS will look to drive ticket sales for the Tigers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The University of Memphis has announced a partnership with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions (IMGLTS), the leader in privatized ticket sales for intercollegiate athletics events.

IMG-TICKETING350With more than 30 school partners, IMGLTS sells more tickets to university athletic events than any other outbound ticket sales company.

Following the Tigers’ magical 2014 football season, IMGLTS will look to channel the excitement surrounding the defending American Athletic Conference champions’ success by growing support for Memphis’ athletic programs beginning this fall.

“We look forward to collaborating with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, the market leader among colleges and universities in creating outbound ticket programs,” said Tom Bowen, Memphis’ director of athletics. “We know IMG Learfield will bring significant resources to enhance our department’s efforts to help cultivate and produce ticket sales for athletic events.”

An IMGLTS general manager and three sales associates will work out of Memphis’ Athletic Office Building and will be integrated into the department’s existing ticket sale initiatives.

Initially launched in January, 2011 as IMG College Ticket Solutions, and strengthened by a merger in April 2012, IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions provides schools a professional sales force to increase ticket sales. Either working from within the athletic department or from the national sales center in Winston-Salem, N.C., this privatized tickets solution is designed to increase attendance and revenues generated from athletic events as well as choice and convenience when fans purchase tickets.
