PHILADELPHIA  – The Carnival Village at the 122nd running of the Penn Relays will be home to some interactive setups this year, including the Sprout by HP Experience Tour.

SproutbyHPLogo90314Penn Relays and Learfield’s Penn Quakers Sports Properties worked together to highlight Sprout by HP, the world’s first fully-integrated desktop 3D scanning solution. With 3D object capture and editing, plus multiple streamlined 3D printing options, it allows you to grab an object from the physical world, manipulate it in the digital world, and bring it back to life. It’s simple. It’s fun. It’s revolutionary.

The interactive trailer, setup in Carnival Village, will have five demo stations and a 3D printer for fans to engage with. The Sprout by HP team will be on-site doing demonstrations of Sprout and the Sprout apps, allowing attendees hands-on experience.

“Sprout is an innovative technology that is best experienced live,” Chin Wu, Americas Marketing for HP Inc. “We’re really excited to be on-site at the 122nd running of the Penn Relays and are looking forward to getting our technology in the hands of the fans.”

“The Relays bring together some of the great athletes and fans in the country and we’re thrilled to be hosting the Sprout by HP team this year,” said Penn Quakers Sports Properties Manager of Business Development Jason Frandi. “This event will be a great event for fans to experience the Sprout technology.”
