DAVIDSON, N.C. – Peyton Gallagher has been named General Manager of Davidson Sports Properties, Learfield’s local team that will work alongside Director of Athletics Jim Murphy and his athletic administration to manage the Wildcats’ comprehensive rights including signage, digital, corporate sponsorships, television and radio play-by-play, and coaches’ shows.

GallagherHeadWebA 2005 graduate of Davidson College, Gallagher returns to his alma mater after 10 years with the Atlanta Falcons. While with the National Football League organization, Gallagher held the following titles – Event Marketing Seasonal Assistant (2006-07), Client Services Coordinator (2007-2011), Senior Corporate Partnerships Executive (2011-14) and Logistics Coordinator (2014-16).

“I couldn’t be more excited and proud of the opportunity to enhance and further develop the brand of my alma mater,” said Gallagher. “I was blessed by the diverse experiences during my tenure with the Atlanta Falcons and look forward to working with Jim Murphy, the staff and local business community to bring fresh ideas to campus.”

In addition to Gallagher, Danny O’Leary will serve as the Coordinator of Business Development.

OLearyHeadWebO’Leary, who relocated from Learfield’s headquarters in Plano, Texas, is a 2015 graduate of the University of Missouri. As a student at Mizzou, he was first introduced to Learfield in 2012, where he gained valuable experience as an Affiliate Relations Intern. Upon graduation in May 2015, O’Leary rejoined the Learfield family, working closely with the market research team, and assisting with projects across multiple departments.

Earlier this month, Davidson announced it had selected Learfield as its multimedia rights partner through the 2026-27 athletic season.

With a deep presence along the East Coast and nationally, among the more than 120 collegiate properties represented by Learfield includes fellow in-state institutions, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and NC State. Also, with the addition of Davidson, Learfield now holds individual rights agreements with eight Atlantic 10 Conference member schools: Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason, UMass, Rhode Island, Saint Louis and VCU.
