Located in nearby Frisco, Southland Conference is one of the more than 120 collegiate properties now represented by Learfield. Fisher will direct all aspects of its “Southland Sports Properties” team that aligns daily with league administrators and operates as dedicated sponsorship sales partner to the Conference.

In addition to his prior post with Learfield, Fisher served locally with MLS’ FC Dallas as director of business development. His other sports industry experience includes serving nearly eight years as senior director of corporate sales and marketing for the NFL’s Detroit Lions, and as director of corporate sales for the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Earlier career stints also include sales roles with the MLB’s Detroit Tigers and New York Mets, as well as the Philadelphia Civic Center and NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers. Before rejoining Learfield for Southland Sports Properties, he created strategic campaigns for clients as account manager for VLG Marketing.

“Earle is a true professional with terrific business acumen and excellent experience. We’re excited to have him part of the Southland Conference-Learfield team,” said Commissioner Tom Burnett.

Learfield actively sells all Conference assets to businesses and corporations looking to align with Southland and its member schools. Aside from the league-wide relationship, Learfield is aligned with the Southland Conference through individual multimedia rights agreements with McNeese State University and Stephen F.
