JONESBORO, Ark. – Exclusive multimedia rights holder for Arkansas State officially introduced today its Red Wolves Sports Properties team since recently aligning with university athletics. Learfield appointed Erik Book general manager of the locally based team, and Nathan Garcia as manager, business development.

Book and Garcia will work closely with Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir and the athletics administration to manage all aspects of A-State’s comprehensive rights through the 2027 athletic season, including signage, digital, corporate sponsorships, television and radio play-by-play, and coaches’ shows.

“We are excited to have Erik and Nathan representing A-State as part of our Red Wolves Sports Properties team,” said Mohajir. “They bring a wealth of experience and expertise with them, and I believe they will be outstanding community contributors.”

Erik Book Bio PicA seasoned sports marketing executive and former collegiate student-athlete, Book relocated to Jonesboro from Southern Utah University, where he was the executive associate athletics director. Prior to that, he was at Texas Tech University serving as associate athletics director of marketing, sales and service. His additional experience includes serving as assistant athletics director of ticket operations for the University of Miami (Fla.) and serving in the same role before that for University of South Florida. Book also held collegiate ticketing positions at Texas State University, Lamar University and Saint Cloud University. His career start was boosted with a sales and marketing internship for the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and serving as the athletic director’s intern Wartburg College, where he played basketball and was a four-time letter winner.

Head Shot_GarciaGarcia comes to Jonesboro from Lubbock, Texas, where he served two years as a member of the Texas Tech University Department of Athletics. Most recently he was a ticket sales and service representative, and before that, was a student assistant in ticket operations. Garcia received his undergraduate degree at Texas State University in San Marcos, and earned his master’s in sport management from Texas Tech.
