SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The nation’s leading digital provider for college athletics SIDEARM Sports announced today that it has deepened its relationship with University of Texas Athletics.

The multi-year extension between the two parties will encompass a redesign for TexasSports.com and TheLonghornFoundation.com – to be unveiled in the spring or summer 2017 – as well the opportunity to launch a brand new look for UTErwinCenter.com this fall.

“It’s been a privilege to be the technological backbone for the two sites these last several years, and we look forward to adding the Frank Erwin Center site to our Texas mix,” said Jeff Rubin, President and CEO for SIDEARM Sports, which will host nearly 150 Division I university athletic sites, including 30 schools in the Power Five conferences. “It’s no secret that UT’s sites are among the most-viewed in the nation by a tremendous, passionate fan base. We want to continue providing quality service, complete customization and easy-to-use sites for UT fans, alumni, donors, ticket holders, faculty, staff, students and student-athletes.”

SIDEARM Sports has a network of over 900 of collegiate websites. Within it, TexasSports.com had the second highest page views at nearly 30 million and most visitors at nearly nine million between July 1, 2015 and July 1, 2016. The sites SIDEARM provides for Texas Athletics serve as premier online destinations for UT followers, ensuring such fan-based features as event ticketing, feature stories and interviews, photo galleries, merchandise and social media updates. Innovative technological enhancements and complementary features will be noticeable to fans in the renewal term as well, leveraging SIDEARM’s newly improved responsive platform, which will give even better access to Texas Athletics on all devices.

“We are excited to be continuing our partnership with SIDEARM Sports for all of our website needs,” said University of Texas Men’s Athletics Director Mike Perrin. “Our websites are valuable resources for so many people and we’re proud of the content that’s produced on them. SIDEARM Sports has done a tremendous job helping us manage them and we’re looking forward to building on that relationship.”

IMG, UT’s multimedia partner, negotiated the agreement and will oversee all sponsorship opportunities.
